How much does a home inspection cost?

I base my home inspections on a number of factors. Age of the home, square footage and services requested are all important factors. For every home, I create a custom quote but expect to pay anywhere from $400-$750. I believe these to be very competitive prices for the services I provide.

Do you offer same-day reports?

Real estate transactions can transpire at breakneck speeds these days, and as such, I understand the importance of a timely report. With very few exceptions I provide same-day reports with all my inspections.

Do you perform radon tests?

Yes!

Do you perform thermal imaging?

I use a thermal camera on every inspection. This allows me to “see through walls” to help detect hidden problems including faulty wiring, missing insulation, structural issues, and moisture intrusion problems.

Do you perform sewer scopes?

I believe that sewer scopes require a level of training and proficiency above the standard home inspector, and because of this I usually recommend you get a sewer scope done by a specialist. I can refer you to a specialist in your area.
